Oouuh AI Video Mistakes: Photos, Roles, Audio and Delays
Troubleshoot an Oouuh AI duet: check portrait quality, player and singer order, sound controls, photo expiry, credit returns and uncertain generation status.
Start with the symptom
If you need the entire creation process, use our step-by-step photo tutorial. This article focuses on what to check when an input, result or task status does not behave as expected. None of these suggestions guarantees that a model will produce a particular face, word or gesture.
The wrong person sings
Photo 1 is assigned to the left-side ukulele player; photo 2 is assigned to the right-side singer. Check that you did not upload the same person twice or reverse the slots. Use one clear face per portrait. A busy group photograph leaves more ambiguity than a single-person portrait.
If the inputs were correct but the generated roles are wrong, keep the task ID and contact support. Do not assume that changing the text alone can force a perfect result or that deleting the video automatically refunds it.
The face does not look right
Try a sharp, naturally lit portrait with an unobstructed face. Sunglasses, a hand across the face, extreme angles and heavy editing can make the reference less clear. Use similar framing for both portraits. AI identity preservation is imperfect; preview the result before sharing it with the people depicted.
I cannot hear the song
First check the player’s mute control, volume and your device’s media volume. The homepage preview does not need to autoplay to contain audio. The full sample player has native controls. A completed product video is intended to include original generated vocals and ukulele music, not Fredo Bang’s original recording.
If a downloaded result is silent in another player too, contact support with the task ID. Avoid uploading a private generated file to an unrelated public troubleshooting site.
The lyrics are different from my topic
The topic field is inspiration for an original song, not a word-for-word lyrics contract. A short, specific topic is easier to fit into 12 or 15 seconds than several verses. Choose the singing language in the language control. For a birthday message, keep one name or nickname and one personal detail; see our birthday topic examples.
My photos need to be uploaded again
Photos expire 24 hours after upload. The generator also requires more than two hours of remaining photo availability when starting a new task so the provider has time to read the inputs. Restoring a draft does not reset that timer. Upload the originals again rather than repeatedly retrying an expired reference.
Generation is taking longer than expected
Keep the existing task ID. An uncertain submission may already have reached the provider, so repeatedly creating a new task can create a second paid request. Follow the task status and use support if it remains unresolved. Processing includes saving and moderation; a provider finishing its work does not mean the download is ready yet.
Returned credits did not increase my available balance
A confirmed failure returns credits once to the batches originally charged. Those batches keep their original expiry dates. If they expired while the task ran, the return may not be spendable. Ask support to review that task and any prior compensation. This is different from a cash refund, which follows the refund policy.
Before trying again
Check the two photo slots, background, language, duration, resolution and displayed credit cost. Download successful results within 30 days. Keep private media private, and use authorized portraits for any new generation.
